No. Heywire is a dispute resolution platform, not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice. WireAI Chat and all generated content are for informational and organizational purposes only. For complex litigation or formal legal representation, we recommend consulting a licensed attorney. That said, many Heywire users resolve disputes entirely without one.

Yes. Heywire's Automated Call Agent operates as your authorized representative when you activate a campaign. You provide explicit consent for calls to be made on your behalf, and our system ensures calls are placed only to business entities, landlords, or customer service lines — not to individuals in a way that would violate TCPA or harassment statutes. All calls are recorded and logged for your records and ours.

Audit Logs (Max plan) create a comprehensive, timestamped record of all actions taken in your campaign. While we cannot guarantee legal admissibility in every jurisdiction, many users have used their Heywire logs to demonstrate a documented pattern of outreach and non-response in small claims proceedings. We recommend downloading and preserving your logs if you anticipate filing a claim.

You can delete your account and all associated campaign data at any time from your dashboard settings. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Yes. All Heywire plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time directly through your dashboard under Account → Billing. You'll retain full access to your plan until the end of your current billing cycle, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.

Pro is a one-time, per-campaign purchase — not a recurring subscription. You pay $12 to activate a single campaign with full Pro features. This is ideal if you have one specific dispute to resolve. If you need multiple active campaigns simultaneously, the Max plan ($75/mo) is more economical.

Pro (one-time) purchases are non-refundable once a campaign is activated. If you haven't activated your campaign yet, contact support within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Max monthly subscriptions can be cancelled for a prorated refund within 7 days of your billing date if no campaigns were active at any point — contact support to request one. This applies to new accounts only.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) through our secure Stripe-powered checkout. We do not currently accept PayPal, crypto, or wire transfers.

Yes. You can upgrade to Max at any time. Your existing Pro campaign(s) will be immediately upgraded with Max features (Audit Logs, Call Agent, unlimited follow-ups). The $12 you paid for Pro is not deducted from your first Max billing cycle, but you get full value from the expanded capabilities immediately.

WireAI is your on-demand dispute advisor. You can ask it anything: "What are my rights as a tenant in Texas if my landlord withholds my deposit?" or "Draft a demand letter for a $340 billing error." It's context-aware — it reads your campaign documents and tailors responses to your specific situation, not generic templates.

When you enable calling (Max plan), Heywire's AI voice agent calls the respondent's official contact number. It identifies itself as calling on behalf of your dispute, reads a structured notice based on your campaign stage, and requests a response within a specified timeframe. The call is recorded, transcribed, and logged as a timestamped event in your Audit Log. Calls are placed during business hours only.

The Escalation Engine determines the timing, tone, and content of each follow-up. It tracks the legal response deadline for your dispute type, monitors whether a response has been received, and increases urgency at each stage — from a friendly reminder, to a formal demand, to a notice of intent to file a complaint with a regulatory agency. You can review and approve each step before sending, or enable fully automated mode.

Yes. Every AI-generated email and call-script is editable before it's sent. You can adjust the tone, add personal details, attach additional evidence, or rewrite sections entirely. Heywire's draft is a starting point — you always have final say over what goes out under your name.

Currently, Heywire's legal research database, Case Calendar, and State Law Library are optimized for U.S.-based disputes across all 50 states. The AI Escalation Engine and WireAI Chat can assist with international disputes in a general capacity, but jurisdiction-specific legal deadlines and statutes are not guaranteed outside the U.S. International support is on our roadmap.
